Newco Diamond Truss is looking for reliable general labourers to join our roof truss assembly team. This is a 3-month term with the possibility of permanent employment.
Key duties include:
Assembling roof trusses
Retrieving and staging connector plates
Strapping completed trusses
Assisting other assemblers and supporting production flow as needed
Physical demands:
Standing for extended periods
Frequent lifting, carrying, and handling of lumber and metal connector plates
Bending, reaching, and working in a quick-paced production workplace
Ability to work in a plant setting that can be warm in summer and cooler in winter
Requirements:
Safety footwear (CSA-approved) is mandatory
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
