Duties
Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean working environment.
Assist in the fabrication of products as needed, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions.
Utilize basic math skills for measuring ingredients and maintaining accurate records.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
Maintain a secure work area by following all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or food processing is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to lift and move heavy materials as required throughout the shift.
