We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Material Handler to join our team. This role involves transporting Roofing Materials. Hauling and dumping Bin trailers. Customer Service. And yard clean up
Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks and tow heavy bin trailers
Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling of heavy items
Move materials within the shop or job site, maintaining organization and safety standards
Assist with inventory management by tracking deliveries and updating records accurately
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
Maintain a clean and organized work setting,
adhering to safety regulations at all times
Experience
Prior experience in hauling trailer operations or material handling is preferred
Class 5 driving experience with a valid license is required. Clean drivers abstract required
Experience in customer service roles will enhance communication effectiveness
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
Solid communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
Knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation, and material handling is essential
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
