Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers and play a key part in maintaining the quality and presentation of our baked goods. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting baked goods and pastries.
Prepare and package baked items with care, ensuring proper food handling and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases, shelves, and workstations.
Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products meet health standards.
Restock shelves and packaging supplies to keep the bakery well-stocked throughout the day.
Experience
Previous experience in food handling or customer service is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with bakery operations is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Solid communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members.
Willingness to learn new skills related to baking, food preparation, and packaging.
