On Time Glass is seeking a Junior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic self starter who is eager to learn and has a desire to grow in the glass service industry. This is an entry-level position, and training will be provided to complete necessary tasks and responsibilities.

Typical working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. We are located in Port Coquitlam, BC and require technicians to start at the shop.

Responsibilities
Perform setup and cleanup tasks on site
Load and deliver materials to job sites
Lift and move glass and other materials
Install window or door hardware under the supervision of a senior technician
Measure, mark, and cut glass under the supervision of a senior technician
Assist senior technicians with removing and installing windows
Assist senior technicians with window and door repairs

Experience and Requirements
Ability to operate power tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Valid drivers licence
Ability to take direction from superiors
Written and verbal English language proficiency




Solid interpersonal and relational skills
Strong attention to detail
Time management skills
Previous experience in construction or manual labour is an asset
Previous experience in customer service is an asset

Physical Capabilities
This job is physically demanding and often involves working outdoors. Technician must be comfortable with the following working conditions:
Lifting and handling heavy loads
Standing for extended periods of time
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Working at heights (safety training provided)
