Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including building structures, installing fixtures, and performing repairs. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape materials according to project requirements.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square.
Install roofing, siding, flooring, and other fixtures as needed.
Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure durability and weather resistance.
Conduct construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors in office to ensure timely project completion.




Maintain tools and equipment in positive working condition.

Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in construction or maintenance person services.
Familiarity with various carpentry techniques including flooring installation, siding application, and roofing systems.
Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred)

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
