One of our clients is looking for an experienced and reliable Working Foreperson to join their team.

Job Title: Working Foreperson
Location: Kitchener, Ontario
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay rate: $34.25 - $45.50 per hour

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a bridge crew while performing hands-on construction work.
Plan and assign daily tasks and ensure the crew understands work expectations.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on site.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE, inspections, and safe work procedures are followed.
Identify hazards and ensure proper controls are in place before work begins.
Coordinate labour, equipment, materials, and subcontractors as required.
Monitor daily production and minimize downtime.
Ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
Oversee bridge construction activities including formwork, rebar, concrete, demolition, structural work, and rehabilitation.
Maintain daily records, production tracking, photos, and other required documentation.
Communicate progress, safety concerns, manpower needs, and project issues to the Superintendent.




Work professionally with inspectors, consultants, and other site personnel.

Qualifications
5+ years of bridge or heavy civil construction experience with field leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of bridge construction, including formwork, rebar, concrete, demolition, and structural work.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Strong safety leadership and knowledge of high-risk construction activities.
Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with daily reports, timekeeping, and production tracking.
Ability to operate small tools and equipment.
Valid Class G driver's licence.
Ability to travel to job sites as required.
Gold Seal Foreperson certification or equivalent is an asset.
