Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive guest experience by creating a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean guest rooms thoroughly and efficiently according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
Replace linens and towels, and ensure all items are in valuable condition.
Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items to the supervisor.
Restock cleaning supplies and room amenities as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
Maintain cleanliness in hallways and public areas as assigned.




Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
Respect guests' privacy and adhere to “do not disturb” signs.
Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Valuable physical condition; must be able to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods.
Basic English communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and related equipment across sloping or uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across a full work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate items of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
