A Medical Office is seeking a Clinical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative and medical support to our Physicians, Nurse and the broader team. If you are organized, personable, and committed to delivering a high level of customer service in a healthcare setting, we'd love to hear from you. Also – Fridays and weekends off!

About the Role

As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a key part in keeping our clinic running smoothly and ensuring patients have a positive experience from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare exam rooms and place patients in examination rooms
Maintain and stock exam rooms
Support Physicians and the Nurse with patient care
Prepare for and assist with procedures
Assist the RN with autoclaving
Order, track, and receive medical supplies
Send and receive messages and documents by fax and email
Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing




Answer telephone inquiries from patients and outside agencies, providing information as required
Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records and test results using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Provide occasional reception coverage as needed
