Responsibilities
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to ensure comfort and safety.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being.
Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living setting.
Support patients with mobility challenges through secure lifting,
transferring, and positioning techniques.
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly.
Experience
Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in patient care, including medication administration and hygiene assistance.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia, providing specialized care tailored to their needs.
Knowledge of hospice care principles and senior care best practices is a plus.
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics.
Robust caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
