Tasks:
Read Schematics blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
Neatly organize components according to specifications (e.g. Din-rails, relays, contactors, etc.)
Precisely Wire Controls Panels & Connect Various Components like Buttons, Foot Switches, Motors, Encoder, etc.
Test and inspect components to ensure full functionality
Trouble Shoot Breakdowns (Aptitude for Problem Solving)
Support R&D; Projects Incorporating Cutting Edge Technologies
Job Requirements:
Proven experience within the Electrical Field an Asset
Experience using a variety of electrical equipment (Voltmeters, ++) as well as electrical tools (Wire cutters, strippers, soldering irons, crimpers, ++)
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective devices
Quality workmanship,
efficiency and ability to work independently
Skilled Certification and/or Knowledge of the Ontario electrical code and standards is an asset
Previous exposure to PLCs, HMIs, VFDs would be an asset
Occasional Travel may be required, must Poses a Valid Driver’s License
