We are looking for an experienced Shop Foreman for client located in Scarborough to lead daily production operations in a custom millwork and cabinet manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will oversee workflow, supervise shop employees, ensure quality standards are met, and keep projects on schedule while maintaining a secure and organized work setting.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily shop operations and production staff.
Coordinate workflow between CNC, assembly, finishing, and shipping.
Assign daily tasks and monitor production schedules.
Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed.
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Resolve production issues and improve workflow efficiency.
Train and support team members.
Job Requirements
5+ years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, or woodworking manufacturing.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Solid knowledge of CNC, assembly, and finishing processes.
Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
