The NNDSB invites applications for the following LTO position

from September 2, 2026 to early return of the teacher.

Position:
Primary/ Junior Prep Teacher

Required teaching qualifications:
A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
Primary/Junior Qualifications
Experience with Literacy and/or Numeracy Intervention is an Asset

Position Criteria:
Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
Evidence of understanding of diverse learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work ·
Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively




Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
