Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping journey
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments
Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving correct change and balancing registers at shift end
Assist customers with product inquiries, including product demos and upselling relevant items
Maintain organized merchandising at checkout counters to enhance the shopping experience
Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and security protocols during all transactions
Support inventory management by restocking shelves and assisting with product organization as needed

Requirements




Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, with solid cash handling skills
Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transaction processing
Familiarity with POS systems, cash registers, and basic merchandising techniques
Strong customer service orientation with friendly phone etiquette and professional demeanor
Positive organizational skills and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Previous technical sales experience or product demo skills are advantageous but not required; training will be provided for specific product knowledge
Ability to work flexible hours in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining a positive attitude
Candidate should have a source to commute
Preferably from Saint Catharines, Ontario
