Core duties:
Work in either Truck or Trailer shops as required.
Perform diagnostic procedures.
Positive problem solving, trouble shooting and communication skills.
Complete maintenance on vehicles or other company owned equipment.
Perform work as assigned on work orders with efficiency, safety, and accuracy in accordance with shop, and regulatory standards.
Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or verify repair resolution.
Maintain timely accurate records of work performed.
Participate in and complete online and off-site training as requested by management within deadlines presented.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications & Competencies
2nd year apprentice or licensed Truck & Trailer Tech.
Must maintain any applicable certifications.
Valid driver's license
Must have and maintain clean drivers abstract.
Clean police search.
Willingness to participate in a Drug and Alcohol program and able to provide a negative pre-employment test.
Act in the best interest of the company always.
Always maintain professionalism.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills…verbal,



written and computer.
Physically able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
Able to read and understand operating manuals and technical drawings.
Able to work rotational shifts to cover weekends, as well as covering the After-hours Service call for emergencies.
Maintain an organized workspace and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Must own your own tools as required for the position.
