Under the supervision of your field manager, the Fiber Optics Technician will be responsible for:
Installing Fiber optic cable to residential and commercial suites.
You will also be trained on installing outside plant.
Responsibilities
Provide the Ultimate Customer Experience
Obtaining and Maintaining a excellent attention to detail
Install inside wiring fiber cables from point A to point B
Knowledge of tools and test equipment
Place outside cables (aerial or underground)
Maintain Personal and Company provided tools
Work in different weather conditions
Work In manholes if required
Maintain good condition of company vehicles
Completing various tasks as requested by supervisor
Rapidly Adapting to new changes that may occur
Be Flexible for various work hours
Able to adapt to a quick-paced environment

Requirements:
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Having a reliable vehicle to transport yourself to and from work
Some experience in fiber optics wiring infrastructure or equivalent
Must be Legally entitled to work in Canada
Fluent in English
Strong Mechanical and Technical Skills
Ability to work on aerial platforms and ladders
Criminal Record Check is Required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
