We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks that support construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The Skilled Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Pay amount will be determined by experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites
Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and materials
Perform general manual labor including lifting, digging, and moving supplies
Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, or plumbers in their tasks
Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Operate basic tools and machinery as required
Maintain a clean and secure work environment throughout the project duration
Assist with site cleanup and disposal of debris upon project completion
Requirements
Proven experience as a Labourer or similar role preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods
Robust work ethic with attention to safety procedures and guidelines
Valuable communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance processes is a plus
Reliable transportation to job sites; valid driver’s license is advantageous
Must be punctual, dependable, and eager to contribute to team success
