Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gravel Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport gravel and other materials to various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. This position offers an prospect to work in a energetic setting with a focus on timely deliveries and operational excellence. Must have bush road experience and follow bush road radio protocols.

Duties
Safely operate gravel trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver materials to designated locations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload gravel using appropriate equipment,
Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of transported materials
Conduct minor repairs and troubleshooting to ensure vehicle functionality
Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transportation activities




Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues

Experience
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
Prior experience operating heavy trucks, preferably in construction or mining environments
Basic repair skills are a plus for maintaining vehicle performance
Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment use
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading materials as required

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
