Responsibilities
Assist lead painters with surface preparation including sanding, masking, and caulking to ensure smooth finishes.
Handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting and rigging tasks.
Support the setup and breakdown of work areas by rigging scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment as needed.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming according to project specifications.
Read schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial painting jobs.




Mix paints and materials accurately while adhering to safety guidelines for handling chemicals.
Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.

Skills
Construction experience with a focus on painting or related trades such as carpentry or rigging.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and schematics for accurate project execution.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and scaffolding setup.
Knowledge of restoration processes along with residential and commercial painting practices.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project needs.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
Customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction through quality workmanship.
