Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized care plans to promote lifelong dental wellness
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and confidence
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix, documenting treatments and observations clearly
Take and develop digital X-rays, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, scheduling follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience




Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including sterilization procedures and inventory management

Skills
Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software for efficient record keeping
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology to support specialized patient needs
Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations are highly valued
Strong background in dental assisting techniques and pediatric dentistry to serve patients of all ages
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication
Prior experience working in a busy dental office environment demonstrating organizational skills and adaptability
