Defy Functional Fitness is a thriving gym in the great neighbourhood of Leaside.

We need to expand our team (again) to meet the demands of new members and a busy schedule.

There is a robust onboarding period required that must be completed before employment

A CrossFit certification will enhance your application or experience training at a CrossFit facility. We do incorporate some movements, such as gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting and use of the ERGs - it's important you're familiar with all of these

For the right candidate, we have salaried positions that make your income more stable. We don't not want coaches who work at multiple facilities, we have plenty of work for you under our roof.

Basic use of software is needed, like google drive, CRM systems and workout programming like TrueCoach - we can teach all of this.





Willing to learn current ways of client delivery - consistency is one of of core values and we have a tried and tested way of delivering an excellent service.

A comprehensive coach development plan will be put in place for each new hire

We work as a team, sometimes sharing clients and sessions in a collaborative way - the best outcome for the members is number one priority

Excellent communication is key, confident, well spoken and able to deal with clients from many backgrounds

This is a full time position that includes working Saturdays.
