Title: AUTOMATION PROFESSIONALID No: 2-1549Location: Calgary, AlbertaAs an automation professional, the desired applicant will share our vision to provide industry‑leading services to our clients. A diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, programming, and maintenance is required, along with at least three years of experience in automation and controls. The successful applicant will work with our Automation and Controls team in Calgary, Alberta.Key Responsibilities
Program and test PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systemsOn‑site commissioning and start‑upSupport clients by troubleshooting control systems via remote access or on‑siteWork and coordinate with contractorsAssist in control system designAssess existing control systemsDevelop control system upgrade strategiesImplement/specify secure network and remote access schemesEducate clientsQualifications
Degree or Diploma in a related field from an accredited post‑secondary institutionPreferred:



2 years of experience in automation and controlsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsBackground in electrical and instrumentation systemsExperience with a variety of automation software and hardware systems considered an asset, including:
Allen Bradley, Schneider, Siemens, Emerson, Horner, Automation Direct PLCsVTScada, iFIX, Ignition, FactoryTalk, AVEVA SCADA softwareRed Lion, Maple, Allen Bradley, Automation Direct HMIsCellular and spread‑spectrum radio communication infrastructureControl system networking, VPN, routers, switches, OT infrastructure
