About The Role

The Anesthesia Assistant supports anesthesiologists in delivering protected, high‑quality patient care across all phases of anesthesia, including induction, maintenance, and recovery. Responsibilities include: assisting with airway management, invasive procedures, patient monitoring, preparing and administering medications under direction, operating, maintaining,



and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment; monitoring patient status; supporting complex procedures such as fibre‑optic intubation and bronchoscopy; assisting with emergency interventions; managing ventilated patients; ensuring equipment quality and inventory; participating in quality improvement initiatives; providing education to staff. The role requires strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑based operating room environment.
