Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the industrial maintenance department supporting the production and operational teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety protocols, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Stayner, ON
Pay Range: $40 per hour ($1+ for shift premium)
Shift: 4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday to Friday
What's the Job? Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using blueprints and schematics.
Set up machinery for production runs and ensure proper functioning.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety standards.
What's Needed? Experience in preventive maintenance, machine setup, and machine maintenance.
Knowledge of millwright skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Criminal background check clearance (CRC) for Canada.
Willingness to work the specified evening shift.
