Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Evaluate project requirements, materials, and labour to determine costs and timelines.
• Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender submissions to secure new projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project plans to understand scope and deliverables.
• Monitor and update cost estimates as project requirements evolve.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

• A strong background in construction cost estimating.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools.
• A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
