Airswift is seeking for an Inventory Analyst to support one of our clients in the energy sector on a 1-year contract in Calgary, Alberta.
This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reconciliation of refined product inventories and transactions across distribution terminals throughout Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily inventory and transactional reconciliation for distribution terminals across Canada.
Ensure physical product movements and transactions are accurately reflected in SAP ERP systems.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and abnormal stock variations.
Collaborate with terminal operations, front office, accounting, settlements, and external partners to resolve variances.
Support daily and monthly compliance activities, including SOX controls and month-end close requirements.
Contribute to achieving operational KPIs and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Provide inventory and reconciliation support to help optimize refined products operations and customer service.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in reconciliation, inventory management, or accounting.
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and hydrocarbon material movement processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Power Platform tools.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and business groups.
