Description
Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is looking for an experienced Class 1 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves hauling aggregates, asphalt, and materials to and from job sites while working closely with field crews and dispatch.
Experience Required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a dump truck driver
What We’re Looking For
Valid Class 1 driver’s license
Transfer (pup) experience is an asset
Robust knowledge of local routes and job site conditions
Clean driving abstract
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Ability to work long hours and varying shifts as required
What You’ll Do
Operate Class 1 dump trucks safely and efficiently
Haul materials to job sites, plants, and yards
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Communicate with dispatch, foremen, and site supervisors
Maintain accurate logbooks and paperwork
Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations
Assist in office when required
