Key Responsibilities and Oversight
Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for a publicly traded company.
Oversee and mentor a team of four finance professionals, including newly qualified CPAs.
Manage the integration and consolidation of financial data following acquisitions, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.
Drive the transition from ASPE to IFRS standards, including systems upgrades and process improvements, and various implementation projects.
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure timely and compliant audit processes.
Support and develop, including maintain internal controls related to financial reporting.

Qualifications
CPA designation with proven experience in public company financial reporting with a minimum of two years in a leadership role.
Solid technical knowledge of IFRS and experience with financial systems implementations.
Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing and developing a team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a quick‑paced, growing workplace, supporting ongoing process improvements and various projects.
Experience supporting acquisitions and integration projects is a plus.
Knowledge of Canadian public markets and compliance requirements.
