Convergint is seeking Journeyman Sheet Metal Workers to join their maintenance team at Suncor Base Plant in the Fort McMurray region. This role involves installation, repair, and maintenance of sheet metal systems in a heavy industrial setting, with a strong focus on safety and quality. The ideal candidates are team players with troubleshooting skills and a commitment to exceptional service. This is a FIFO 14/14 rotation with accommodations provided.

What You’ll Need





- Alberta Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker Certificate or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract
- BSO/CSO certification
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas
- Capable of standing, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces for extended periods

What Will Make You Stand Out

- HVAC experience
- Fall Protection Certification
- Aerial Work Platform (MEWP) certification
- Confined Space Entry and H2S Alive certifications
- Experience in industrial maintenance, oil sands, or heavy industrial facilities
