Join Neskonlith Indian Band as Chief Financial Officer in Chase, BC. A minimum of five years in senior financial management, particularly in Indigenous governance, is required. Develop and execute community-aligned financial strategy
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with Indigenous governance requirements
Lead budget planning and investment management
Manage external audits and liaise with auditorsRequirements:
Chartered accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) required
Minimum five years in senior financial management
Experience with Indigenous Bands and governance
Solid knowledge of the Indian Act and Financial Transparency Act
