We are looking to hire a full time forklift operator for our loyal client, a kitchenware retailer in Longueuil.
Here is a summary of the position:
Main duties:
Prepare orders using QR codes
Validate quantities and products and ensure they comply with established standards and regulations
Wrap pallets
Load/operate a forklift and pallet truck
Participate in physical inventory counts
Perform other material handling duties, such as counting, weighing, packing, and unpacking various products
Participate in general warehouse maintenance
Maintain a protected work setting and comply with all company health and safety policies
Requirements :
At least 2 to 3 years experience in order preparation and as a forklift operator
Forklift operator's license (counterbalanced and electric reach)
Basic computer skills
Familiar with barcodes
Able to lift loads up to 40 lbs
Able to work with radio frequency warehouse systems
Able to work standing up for long periods of time
Able to work under pressure during peak periods
Sense of initiative
Sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Ability to perform physical work
Reliable
Versatility – ability to adapt to change
