Become a key player at The Salvation Army in a supportive role aimed at enhancing the quality of life for adults with developmental disabilities. Focus on personalized care and independence through effective programs.In this role, you will be part of The Salvation Army's commitment to serve individuals with unique challenges. As a Residential Counsellor, you will plan and execute individualized programs that cater to each Service User's needs. Your responsibilities include ensuring that their basic needs are met while fostering a supportive and engaging workplace.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized care plans
Ensure physical and emotional needs are met
Document progress and maintain accurate records




Collaborate with healthcare specialists and families
Facilitate service user transportation and manage emergenciesRequirements:
Two years’ experience with developmental disabilities
Accredited diploma in human services or related field
Current certifications in CPR and crisis intervention
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle access
