Join ABC Head Start Society as an Early Learning Teacher focused on the Discovery Stream. You'll lead play-based learning for children ages 3-5 while supporting families directly in their homes.
In this dynamic educator role, you'll spend half your time providing inclusive, engaging lessons aligned with Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Framework. The other half will involve working closely with families to develop individualized learning plans and navigate challenges. Your collaboration with specialists will enhance children’s development and strengthen family connections.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging lessons for children ages 3-5
• Implement play-based learning strategies effectively
• Collaborate with specialists for children’s needs




• Coach families on child development techniques
• Build trusting relationships with families to offer support
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid Alberta Education Teaching Certificate
• Experience with children having complex needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Transparent criminal record check upon hire
