WSP is seeking a Senior Metallurgist to shape critical engineering studies within our ERI Metals and Mining group located in the Greater Toronto Area. This role centers on applying your metallurgy knowledge to impactful infrastructure projects.

Leverage your extensive experience as a Senior Metallurgical Engineer with over 15 years in the field to lead creative projects. You will engage with stakeholders to ascertain project objectives and coordinate multidisciplinary teams throughout detailed engineering studies.

Your leadership will ensure excellence in metallurgical practices and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and assess client needs for project proposals
Establish design parameters and develop necessary diagrams




Execute mass balances and analyze test results
Review engineering documentation and specifications
Guide junior metallurgists and provide project support

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 15 years of metallurgical engineering experience
Valid P.ENG license is essential
Experience with consulting firms is advantageous
Solid initiative with superior communication
