This role contributes to the integrity of financial reporting through the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and resolution of discrepancies. The position plays a key role in supporting month-end close activities, managing invoices, and maintaining proper documentation to meet internal controls and audit requirements. The Operational Accountant collaborates with internal departments, accounting teams, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with established policies and regulatory standards while delivering high-quality financial support.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPrepare and upload journal entries in accordance with established proceduresPerform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerMonitor and analyze suspense accounts and follow up on outstanding itemsSupport month-end and year-end closing processesProcess invoices and coordinate with Accounts Payable for payment activitiesMaintain accurate and audit-ready documentation of financial transactionsEnsure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather and validate financial informationResponsibilities may vary, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.EducationBachelor's Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperienceMinimum of two (2)
