ABOUT THE ROLE The Heavy Mobile Equipment Operator is a key member of the Caledon site team, responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of heavy equipment. This role ensures operational continuity by performing equipment-related tasks and providing coverage for breaks as required.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Operate assigned heavy mobile equipment (such as front-end loaders and haul trucks) according to OEM guidelines.
Ensure that material quality specifications are met for all product outputs.




Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of both the equipment cab and the exterior.
Keep plant equipment and surrounding site areas presentable and in good working order.
Execute and document daily, weekly, monthly, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Complete and review operational reports and metrics on a regular basis.
Uphold environmental sustainability standards during site operations.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education: Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience: Experience or training in heavy mobile equipment operation (e.g., Front end loader and haul truck) is an asset.
Experience: Industrial plant operation experience is an asset.
Technical Skills: Computer literacy is an asset.
Soft Skills: Must be reliable with effective interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements: Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
