Job Description
We are currently seeking a Licensed Electrical Technician (C License) to join a well-established company operating in the environmental industrial and manufacturing recycling sector. This role is based in a heavy industrial, unionized, and highly operational environment where technical expertise, autonomy, and quick problem-solving skills are essential on a daily basis.
Main Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and automated equipment
Carry out electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations on production equipment
Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to PLCs, variable frequency drives, and industrial communication networks
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Participate in the maintenance of various industrial equipment such as conveyors, pumps, overhead cranes, etc.
Follow maintenance procedures and ISO 14001 standards
Work in a chemical industrial environment requiring full PPE at all times
Provide technical support to production and supervisory teams
Working Conditions
Starting salary:
$45/hour
Salary progression up to $58/hour after 2,000 hours worked
Fixed day shift schedule: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Your profile
Valid C Electrical License issued by Emploi-Québec (approximately 5,000 supervised hours required)
DEP, AEC, or equivalent training in electricity, instrumentation, or a related field
Relevant experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in electrical systems and automation
Successful completion of a written evaluation with a minimum score of 70%
Mandatory technical assessment during the plant visit
Clean criminal background
Professionalism, autonomy, and strong teamwork skills within a unionized environment
