As a key member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team, you will collaborate with the Recreation Therapy Manager to enhance resident care. Responsibilities include running individual and group programs, tracking participation statistics, and maintaining activity areas. Your commitment will empower residents, ensuring their recreational needs are met with dignity and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing and executing recreation therapy programs
• Record daily attendance and forward stats to management
• Maintain and clean therapy areas and equipment




• Support new staff and volunteers through orientation
• Transport residents as needed using program vehicle

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Recreation Therapy or related experience
• CPR and Standard First Aid certification
• Transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Experience with individuals facing mental health challenges
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and program planning skills
