Be an essential part of the Saville Community Sports Centre as a Facility Operator I in Edmonton, AB. You will ensure the safe operation of recreation facilities and deliver top-notch client experiences.

This full time position involves responsibilities at the Saville Centre, Foote Field, and Tennis Centre. You will monitor safety, maintain facilities including curling ice and tennis courts, and interact positively with users to enhance their experience. Key duties also encompass setting up and taking down equipment for events and leading casual staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain curling ice and tennis courts
• Oversee facility monitoring and client interactions
• Implement maintenance procedures for facilities and grounds




• Manage event setups and equipment logistics
• Conduct inspections and ensure safety regulations

Requirements:
• High School Diploma required; degree in Kinesiology preferred
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license necessary
• Current First Aid and CPR certification needed
• Experience in ice technician roles is an asset
• Familiarity with recreation management software helpful
