Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview Experience A minimum of 1 year working in a health care setting.
Supply Chain experience in a health care setting with previous experience with medical/surgical supplies and knowledge of medical terminology required.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a health care facility.
Experience working under pressure of deadlines and responding to competing priorities.
Experience identifying, analyzing and solving complex problems in a timely manner.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Complete high school education, Manitoba Standards, required.
A degree, diploma or certificate in a related area is an asset.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Certification/Licensure/Registration Eligible for registration with applicable professional licensing body if applicable.
Qualifications and Skills Working knowledge of Access database software required.
Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of SAP preferred.




Must maintain the strictest confidence in dealing with highly-sensitive information.
Ability to act with initiative, judgment, tact and diplomacy essential.
Excellent knowledge of the Manitoba Residential Tenancies Act.
Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development.
Demonstrated ability to manage and support system changes.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects.
Must be creative, highly-motivated and an energetic team player.
Excellent verbal communication skills are required to effectively present complex, controversial or sensitive information to stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills are required to produce correspondence for a variety of audiences, including all levels of staff and leadership.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff, including internal and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements Position requires constant walking, repetitive lifting, bending, stretching and pushing in the transferring of stock from one area to another and from floor to shelving (up to 60 lbsper item).
Repetitive hand, arm and shoulder motions required as well as long periods of standing.
Pushing and pulling cartloads of inventory that may weigh up to 2100 lbs. across carpets on and off elevators and up and down ramps is required.




Requires the handling of dangerous goods in accordance with WHMIS regulations.
May be required to work in cramped conditions where carrying items over obstacles and twisting motions are necessary.
May be exposed to soiled, sharp or contaminated supplies as well as infectious patients.
Extreme outside weather conditions in a remote location.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your employee handbook.
This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
