This role, reporting directly to the Track Supervisor and Foreman, requires a proactive approach to managing day-to-day tasks in the railway industry. You'll need at least two years of relevant experience and knowledge of track construction and safety practices. This is an essential position for maintaining high standards in customer satisfaction while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise on-site crew in absence of Track Foreman
• Plan work activities and establish safety action plans
• Conduct daily Job Briefings to inform crew on tasks
• Monitor work site for hazards and safety compliance
• Ensure daily vehicle maintenance and inspections
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in railway industry
• Certification in Track Inspection Guidelines
• Proficient in reading railway plans
• Robust communication skills for crew oversight
• Valid Ontario class G driver's license
