Role Description The Bookkeeper/Office Administrator is a full-time hybrid role based in Alberta, Canada, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card statements, and preparing basic financial reports. The role also involves general office administration such as managing correspondence, organizing files, coordinating schedules, and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The individual will handle customer inquiries, provide courteous and timely customer service, and support internal communication between team members and management.



This position requires solid attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a commitment to maintaining organized and efficient office operations.
Qualifications

- Strong office administration and administrative assistance skills, including organizing documents, managing calendars, and coordinating day-to-day office activities.
- Experience working with office equipment and digital tools, such as printers, scanners, multifunction devices, and standard office software (e.g., MS Office, accounting software).
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and preparation of basic financial reports.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment is an asset.
- Post-secondary education or certification in bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with reliability in a hybrid work setting.
