As a Housing Support Worker, you'll work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to provide dedicated support to individuals with mental health and substance use concerns. This role emphasizes developing personalized service plans while promoting the values of Indwell, including dignity and hope. You'll harness resilience in the face of challenges to foster belonging and wellness for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build therapeutic relationships with residents to promote recovery
• Develop and execute individual support plans collaboratively
• Connect residents to community resources for comprehensive support
• Respond compassionately to resident concerns and complaints
• Assist with intake, orientation, and group programming
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience in case management with special needs populations
• Valid “G” class driver's license and own vehicle
• Standard First Aid & CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
• Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check within employment guidelines
