Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in the HRIS

Prepare HR reports, metrics, and administrative documentation

Assist with improving HR administrative processes and documentation

Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system access, equipment, and employee setup

Prepare onboarding materials and support a welcoming new-employee experience

Coordinate the company’s mobile device program, device assignments, inventory, and vendor communications

Provide day-to-day administrative support across Human Resources

Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and culture events

Support employee surveys and feedback initiatives

Prepare and distribute internal communications, including the monthly employee newsletter

Support communication of HR programs, employee events, policy updates, and employee resources

Contribute to HR projects and initiatives supporting the employee experience and Mara’s people strategy

Coordinate business travel, expense reporting, and administrative logistics for Senior Leadership Team members

Coordinate workplace operations and hospitality, including meeting logistics, office resources, amenities, and catering

Provide administrative support for meetings, special projects, and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

Diploma in Human Resources or a related field, completed or in progress, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Previous administrative, office, or Human Resources experience is considered an asset

Co-op, internship, volunteer, or student leadership experience is welcomed

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook,



and PowerPoint

Experience using HRIS platforms such as BambooHR is considered an asset

Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

Solid interpersonal and customer service skills with a collaborative approach

Excellent time management and ability to manage multiple priorities

Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges

Comfortable learning and using new technologies and HR systems

Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing as part of a team

Sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality work
