Located at 15055 Yonge St, Aurora, ON, this part-time, onsite role emphasizes dignity and emotional support for seniors. You will assist residents with daily activities and support their participation in community life while maintaining a safe environment. This role requires strong communication and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with daily living activities
• Provide emotional support and encourage engagement
• Observe and report health changes to team
• Administer medications as delegated (for certified UCPs)
• Maintain a safe and welcoming workplace
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized PSW program or equivalent
• Certification for medication administration is an asset
• 1-2 years of experience in care settings preferred
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Up-to-date immunizations as required
