Kelly Services is hiring Assembly Technicians for our client, a manufacturing company located in Brantford, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a skilled technician with experience in brazing, assembly, or related manufacturing environments.

Position Details:
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: Starting at $26.00/hour

Benefits: Full major medical, life insurance, and additional benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and braze copper tubing and related components for HVAC heat transfer coils

Perform brazing of copper-to-copper, copper-to-brass, and copper-to-steel joints using an electrolysis torch

Select and apply appropriate filler alloys and flux for different joint requirements

Fit, align, clean, and prepare components before brazing

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions

Perform leak detection, pressure testing, inspections, and required rework

Maintain quality standards and complete required documentation

Maintain brazing equipment and report equipment concerns

Follow all safety procedures, including hot work requirements and PPE guidelines

Qualifications:

1–3 years of production brazing or assembly experience preferred

Experience in HVAC/R manufacturing, refrigeration, heat exchangers, pipefitting, or similar industries is an asset

Ability to successfully complete a brazing proficiency assessment during the interview process

Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions

Comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and basic hand tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work





Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 40 lbs in a manufacturing environment
