The Battlefords Early Years Family Resource Centre (BEYFRC) is currently seeking an energetic individual who is passionate about working with young children 0-5 years of age and their families. Facilitator will be responsible for welcoming families into the Centre and engaging with children and their caregivers in strength based ways. In addition, job tasks would include development and delivery of activities & programs for children and their caregivers at the Centre.

Required Qualifications

Completed a recognized program in the field of Early Childhood OR equivalent experience

Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check

Valid First Aid/CPR certificate

Valid driver's license AND reliable vehicle

Job Duties





Develop and implement program activities in collaboration with the Centre Coordinator and other Program Facilitators

Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning opportunities for children prenatal to age 5 and their families

Be a part of the day to day operations at the Centre including organizing, cleaning, planning, data recording and other tasks

Assist in promotion, communications and outreach as needed (may include attending community programs, assisting with social media and other tasks)

Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and accessible environment for diverse families

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience working with children 5 years of age and under

Ability to create an environment that is welcoming for all families

Ability to Contribute to the creation of an inclusive and accessible environment for diverse families

Ability to take initiative in planning and implementing relevant and applicable programs

Ability to be versatile and creative in order to meet the needs of families accessing the Centre

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Experience working with diverse populations

Available to work some weekends and evenings
