JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: On-site (Downtown, Toronto)

Duration: 6 months

Our client a leading financial institution inDowntown Toronto, is looking for an office clerk to perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups and stakeholder responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in role:

Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.

Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties

Define the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.

Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities.

Facilitate cooperative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, review and prioritization.

Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Analyze and document detailed business requirements and system requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology.

Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders.

Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise and digital standards.

Resolve conflicts/issues on behalf of BA team and elevate as required.

Support Design, Development,



and QE activities by providing requirements clarifications.

Support QE test activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues.

Support the consistency of standards and adherence to enterprise requirements methodology within own BA team.

Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members and stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst, preferably within large Financial Institutions.

Strong experience in both business and technical analysis, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Experience with user stories, business and systems specifications, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps.

Experience working on Digital (Online and Mobile) banking projects

Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and working on agile projects

Experience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys

Nice-To-Have Skills:

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute - Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI - PBA)





Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or similar.

Previous experience in Salesforce CRM and related salesforce certification

Master's Certificate in Business Analysis

Soft Skills Required:
Ability to quickly learn organizational structure, business strategies and processes

Lead discussions on detailed requirement phases, identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues

Write clear and well-structured business requirements documents

Advanced ability to resolve minor conflicts/issues using different tactics for prior to escalation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced facilitation and presentation skills

Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure
