The Town of La Ronge is looking for an enthusiastic individual to fulfill the Equipment Operator role within its Public Works Department. You will be responsible for general labor duties, including maintenance and inspection of roads, sidewalks, and facilities. Candidates should thrive in diverse conditions, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks in various weather scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general labor and maintenance on town roads
• Conduct inspections and repairs of facilities and equipment
• Operate small tools for asphalt crack sealing




• Assist in activities around Barber Field airport
• Work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends

Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent certification
• Valid class 5 Saskatchewan driver’s license with air brake endorsement
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Assets: airport experience, heavy equipment operation
• Restricted radio and AVOP certification beneficial
