Become a vital resource for students and families as a Student Support Worker with the STC Pathways to Education program. This role focuses on communication, advocacy, and ensuring family engagement.

As part of the STC Pathways to Education team, you will report to the Education Manager and work directly with students and their families. Your responsibilities include identifying student challenges and ensuring that parents are effectively registered in the program. Through consistent communication and support, you will empower families to navigate the secondary school system successfully.

Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Ensure parents/guardians are registered with the program
• Identify challenges faced by students in the program




• Communicate regularly regarding student progress
• Advocate for parenting strategies to engage with educators

Requirements:
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in community engagement and support
• Familiarity with secondary school systems
• Proactive approach to student and family needs
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
